Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in customer service or healthcare roles preferred
- knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes
- proficiency with EMR software preferred
- effective multitasking and organizational skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- familiarity with healthcare or dermatology environments preferred
- basic knowledge of insurance carriers such as Medicare, commercial, and HMO plans
- experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software like EClinicalWorks or EMA is a plus
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Warmly welcoming patients
- assisting with check-in and check-out procedures
- verifying patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
- handling phone inquiries
- maintaining patient records
- managing the appointment schedule including auditing future appointments and confirming attendance
- contacting patients from waiting lists or with future appointments to offer earlier slots
- providing product education to patients and staff
- selling skincare products
- multitasking and managing tasks to ensure prompt completion of responsibilities
