Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or healthcare roles preferred
  • knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes
  • proficiency with EMR software preferred
  • effective multitasking and organizational skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience
  • familiarity with healthcare or dermatology environments preferred
  • basic knowledge of insurance carriers such as Medicare, commercial, and HMO plans
  • experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software like EClinicalWorks or EMA is a plus
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Warmly welcoming patients
  • assisting with check-in and check-out procedures
  • verifying patients' insurance coverage and eligibility
  • handling phone inquiries
  • maintaining patient records
  • managing the appointment schedule including auditing future appointments and confirming attendance
  • contacting patients from waiting lists or with future appointments to offer earlier slots
  • providing product education to patients and staff
  • selling skincare products
  • multitasking and managing tasks to ensure prompt completion of responsibilities
