As a Receptionist within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring each individual feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Reporting to the Manager of Clinic/Center Administration, this position requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. Working onsite, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations efficiently and supporting clinical staff in day-to-day activities. Your role will directly contribute to maintaining a compassionate and smooth environment, reinforcing the patient-first philosophy that CenterWell champions.

The Receptionist's role extends beyond traditional clerical duties; you will be vital in creating a professional and empathetic atmosphere through greeting patients and visitors warmly, both in person and via telephone. You will manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, ensuring seamless coordination with medical staff to facilitate efficient workflow. Confidentiality and accuracy are paramount, as you will maintain patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Additionally, your responsibilities will include updating patient accounts, processing copayment collections, handling inquiries with a positive and reassuring tone, and keeping the reception area organized and well-stocked. You will also assist with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination, supporting the overall operation of the clinic.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $45,800 per year, along with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on company and individual performance. The role involves a 40-hour workweek and is part of CenterWell's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, requiring successful TB screening upon hire. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service or background in retail hospitality or call centers
  • Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls
  • Experience coordinating tasks resources and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Experience using MS Office tools for reporting data analysis and workflow optimization
  • Experience improving patient care and experience
  • This is a patient-facing role and part of the tuberculosis (TB) screening program requiring TB screening upon hire

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments manage calendars and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed
  • Handle incoming calls respond to inquiries and provide general information and empathy
  • Keep the reception area clean stocked and organized
  • Help with supply orders inventory management and courier coordination
