Job Requirements
- High school graduate
- Medical terminology certification preferred
- Experience with computer and office equipment
- Ability to read and write in English
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- One to two years of office experience or completion of medical office program
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Ability to adhere to ergonomic and safety principles in a clinical office environment

- Knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office Word and Excel

Job Duties
- Greet patients with a warm and friendly tone to create a welcoming environment
- Register and interview patients to collect accurate demographic and financial information
- Perform computer data entry of new and updated patient demographic details
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
- Prepare and compile medical records for upcoming clinic visits from various information sources
- Track and ensure receipt of dictation notes for all patient visits
- Collect co-pay amounts and balances due for services rendered
- Distribute financial assistance packets and provide basic financial guidance to patients
- Refer complex or non-compliant patient financial issues to Financial Specialist or Site Manager
