Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical office environment preferred
  • Experience with EHR systems preferred
  • Proficient in using office software and computer systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Experience using an EHR system highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
  • Patient-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones
  • Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information
  • Assist with collecting and recording co-pays including balancing the day in the computer
  • Support patient communication and provide exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize patient flow
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patient services
  • Maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of patient records
