Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year certificate from college or technical school in front office support for medical settings preferred
- minimum three years front desk or customer service experience
- medical office experience preferred
- flexible availability for weekends and weekdays

Job Duties
- Organizes and maintains patient chart filing system
- answers telephone and directs calls or initiates triage slips
- schedules appointments and conducts reminder calls
- greets and directs patients, salespeople, and visitors
- registers patients and updates records
- coordinates referrals through insurance and specialists
- prepares billing and processes payments
- collects payments and reconciles cash reports
- promotes quality improvement and accuracy
- identifies and solves problems timely
- demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and listening skills
- conducts self professionally and respectfully
- maintains annual competencies
- manages difficult situations with strong customer service orientation
- performs other duties as assigned
