Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration required for employment in states where required
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Phlebotomy experience preferred

Job Duties
- Escort patients to exam rooms and clean and stock rooms
- Review previous medical information and update health details
- Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures, coordinate with labs
- Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by providers
- Perform front desk duties including scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, coordinating specialist visits and referrals, check-in and check-out
- Record accurate data in medical records
- Process test results and communicate them to patients as instructed
- Participate in outreach to drive patient engagement
- Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment
