Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in technical maintenance, preferably holding a Technical Diploma or demonstrating at least 3 years of relevant industrial experience in electromechanical functions in industries such as airlines, military, oilfield, automotive, or electronics. The role demands proficiency in interpreting technical and wiring diagrams, using diagnostic tools like multimeters and megohmmeters, and troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems. A good understanding of 3 phase 480V and single phase 120V electrical systems is also necessary.

Mechanic II should be comfortable with physical work involving lifting, bending, and operating mechanical components, always adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE). The role also involves documenting maintenance work and supporting inventory management through part identification and requisitioning via basic computer systems.
