Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
- dependable and reliable
- outgoing and friendly behavior

- ability to interact with customers
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction
- ability to participate in a team environment
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation of work area
- adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations
- capable of standing up to 4 hours continuously and 8 hours per shift
- able to walk up to 2 miles per 8-hour shift
- work inside temperature controlled area
- possess good vision for using sharp equipment
- able to lift and carry 25 to 90 lbs
- able to move pallets up to 500 lbs with a pallet jack
- move racks and tables with significant weight and force requirements

Job Duties
- provide a high level of customer service
- practice safe food handling procedures
- have product knowledge and preparation techniques
- receive, store, and grind meats
- unload and transport meats from delivery truck
- count and weigh incoming articles
- examine and rotate meats in storage
- assist customers with questions and special orders
- maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- follow procedural guidelines of the Meat Department
