Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- Hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to sell proactively
- Basic knowledge of products in the meat department
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to read labels and familiarize with product details
- Clear communication skills with team members, customers and vendors

Job Duties
- Ensure fresh and appealing product displays by checking quality, cleaning cases and shelves, rotating and removing outdated products, filling ice tables
- Maintain back stock organization
- Assist with sampling program by keeping area full, clean and attractive
- Clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed, work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, use suggestive selling techniques, answer phones and pages courteously
- Maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking and merchandising
- Follow and ensure compliance with health, sanitation, weights and measures, and safety procedures
- Maintain clean and sanitary work and shopping environment, maintain equipment as per standards
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- Report safety hazards and violations immediately
- Perform other duties assigned by store, regional or national leadership
