Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform hand use tasks including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to safely handle knives and other cutting equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully to team members, customers, and vendors
- Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards
- Effective time management and organizational skills

- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned
- Maintain back stock in good order
- Assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques
- Maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- Follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintain clean and sanitary working and shopping environment, maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- Immediately report safety hazards and violations
- Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional or national leadership
