Job Requirements
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing and walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- hand use including grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to handle knives and cutting equipment safely
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- use of tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- No prior retail experience required
- ability to sell proactively
- basic knowledge of all products in the department
- visual examination skills for product quality
- ability to read and understand product labels

Job Duties
- ensure fresh and appealing meat display by checking quality and stocking products
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling programs by keeping areas full and clean
- clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains
- provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries promptly
- maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising
- follow health and safety procedures and food safety regulations
- maintain a clean and sanitary working environment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties
- report safety hazards immediately
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
