Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand or walk for 6 to 8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- Ability to use single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling hand movements
- Capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach frequently
- Must be able to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment safely
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- Must adhere to health and safety regulations
- Must arrive on time and be appropriately groomed and dressed

Job Duties
- Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, stocking, cleaning, rotating, removing out-of-date products, and filling ice tables
- Maintains back stock in good order
- Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing
- Cleans cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work
- Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and models suggestive selling techniques
- Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- Follows and ensures compliance with procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties including sign and pricing accuracy
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
