Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum 4 years of experience in natural gas measurement
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access, and Excel
  • strong mechanical abilities
  • knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API, GPA regulations and company SOPs
  • ability to work independently
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • willingness to work in adverse weather and challenging conditions
  • ability to perform on-call duties and rotating schedule
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate and maintain company vehicles
  • ability to travel overnight occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • minimum 4 years of experience in the natural gas measurement industry
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
  • strong mechanical skills
  • detailed knowledge of EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API, and GPA regulations
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • excellent communication skills to interface with customers
  • ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • experience with work management systems
  • familiarity with safety and environmental regulations

Job Duties

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair large gate station equipment including regulators, control valves, heaters, and filters/strainers
  • complete accuracy testing and calibration adjustments
  • monitor and perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled
  • track maintenance schedules in the work management system
  • perform on-site emergency response maintenance and corrective measures
  • maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair CNG and gate station equipment including compressors, CNG trailers, regulators, and other associated equipment
  • establish and maintain inventory of CNG replacement materials
  • perform calibration, inspection, and documentation as per company procedures
  • coordinate and oversee CNG construction and commissioning activities
  • collaborate with personnel, contractors, and vendors for installation and troubleshooting
  • ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local electrical codes
  • perform assigned operational functions
  • participate in emergency response and recovery activities as needed
