Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class D driver’s license
- clean driving record
- experience in delivery or driving roles preferred
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- ability to work independently and reliably
- patience and tact when working with seniors and clients
- physical ability to load and unload meals
- flexibility to work Monday-Friday day shifts
- commitment to PHS’s mission and values
Job Qualifications
- excellent customer service skills
- valid Class D driver’s license
- previous driving experience preferred
- excellent driving record
- ability to demonstrate patience, tact, and positive attitude
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- flexibility and personal integrity
- compatibility with the mission and operating philosophies of PHS
Job Duties
- pick up meals from the Home Delivered Meals kitchen
- deliver meals to seniors on assigned routes
- observe and assess seniors' consumption of food
- assess home situations for safety and well-being
- interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and safety
- report concerns regarding seniors' well-being to management immediately
- maintain documentation including collecting and filing menus and returning food carriers to the kitchen
