This premier senior living establishment is recognized as one of Napa's top communities, offering an exceptional living experience for its residents. The campus is designed to resemble a peaceful retreat, providing resort-style amenities, beautiful residences, and delicious dining options through its three onsite restaurants. It also provides a continuum of healthcare services including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing, ensuring comprehensive support for the needs of its residents.
The Meadows of Napa Valley seeks a dedicated Cook II to join their culinary team. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of food quality and safety expected by the community, with pay ranging from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour based on experience. As part of the culinary staff, the Cook II is responsible for preparing assigned stations during shifts, working under the direction of the lead cook or sous chef. This includes preparing individual components of various entrees and food items, tailored to the dietary restrictions of the residents, ensuring that every meal served meets the specific nutritional needs tied to therapeutic or modified diets.
The role demands strict adherence to kitchen food safety and sanitary handling practices as mandated by State, Federal, and local regulations. Additionally, the Cook II may need to perform other duties as assigned to support the overall kitchen operations. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, as work may occasionally include weekends and varied shifts. This position offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative and supportive environment where the wellbeing of residents is paramount. The Meadows of Napa Valley emphasizes a morale-driven workplace, encouraging team members to thrive and enjoy their roles within a community-centered and respectful atmosphere.
