Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a general manager in quick service restaurants
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work in Southeastern Michigan (Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Livonia, Oak Park)
- Ability to meet McDonald's customer standards
- Knowledge of restaurant operations
- Valid work authorization
Job Qualifications
- Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
- Graduation from McDonald's Hamburger University
- Technical experience with certifications in OTP2 or OTP3 desired
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred
- Experience in hospitality or retail considered an asset
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to develop and coach staff
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant
- Ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Work with leaders to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
- Lead and support a team of Shift and Department Managers
- Help managers set their goals and follow up on progress
- Provide coaching and direction to improve departmental performance
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
