Job Duties
- Act as the school receptionist and greet the public via telephone and in person with a pleasant attitude
- perform administrative and clerical duties pertaining to the administrative functions of the school office
- operate, maintain, and control the use of the copy machines and office equipment
- order, receive, and distribute all consumable supplies used in the school, and maintain all record pertaining to purchasing documentation
- administer first-aid to sick or injured students and give prescribed medication when the nurse is not available
- register new students, request permanent records, and maintain permanent records in a monitored, secure area
- work with Student Management to maintain accurate student information database
- maintain school attendance accounting records for students and staff
- receipt, deposit, disburse, and record all monies received by the school in accordance with state policy
- keep an accurate ledger for monthly balance and annual audit
- verify the reconciliation of bank statements and prepare adjusting journal entries
- work with Business Operations and auditors to prepare financial records for annual audit
- maintain confidentiality of reports, records, and personal experience regarding students, staff, and patrons
- maintain knowledge of all safety rules and proper procedures for school and student population
- perform other school-related duties assigned by the Principal
