The Maternity Patient Concierge role at BEST is pivotal in supporting maternity patients and their families at BEST's client hospitals, with a focus on enhancing their healthcare experience. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time, totaling 40 hours per week. The Maternity Patient Concierge acts as a compassionate, resourceful, and reliable point of contact, ensuring that patients receive personalized care and support throughout their pregnancy journey. The role involves rounding to patients, providing comfort and care, and managing service requests accurately through BEST's service management platform. Team members in this position are expected to embody BEST's core values in every interaction, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and dedication to improving the patient experience.

In this role, candidates must excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple service requests with poise and tact while maintaining accuracy in data entry and communication. The ideal candidate is servant-hearted, approachable, and emotionally resilient, capable of navigating high-stress, emotional situations effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as experience with point-of-sale technology platforms, is essential. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong commitment to detail and accuracy. This role requires individuals who are creative, solutions-minded, transparent, authentic, positive, and excellent listeners, able to foster trusting relationships with patients and colleagues.

Physical demands include the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods and to handle lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance are mandatory, along with the ability to pass background checks and drug screens. This position is instrumental in delivering a superior maternity patient experience, reflecting BEST's dedication to compassionate and exceptional service delivery within healthcare settings.

Job Duties

  • Fulfill customer services and maternity patient needs such as rounding to patients, providing care and comfort, enhancing maternity patient’s pregnancy journeys
  • Accurately capture service activity within BEST’s service management platform
