Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in materials management or facilities support
- Valid state driver's license with no drug or alcohol-related incidents in last 36 months
- Familiarity with inventory control systems especially GSI
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to support emergency procedures
- Physical capability to handle material loading and unloading tasks
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift with pay differential
Job Qualifications
- Background in materials management facilities support or a related field
- Experience with inventory control systems preferably GSI
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to support site emergency procedures effectively
- Valid state driver's license
- Passionate attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Efficient handling of materials including loading unloading sorting packing issuing and counting of assets
- Compliance with shipping and receiving protocols by examining shipment contents against documentation
- Utilization of the GSI Inventory Control System to identify materials and assign appropriate storage locations and part numbers
- Conducting periodic cycle counts of assets on a weekly monthly quarterly and annual basis
- Supporting site emergency procedures as needed
- Collaborating with the Facilities Management Team Leader and colleagues to maintain operational efficiency
- Adhering to safety and regulatory standards during material handling and facilities support
