Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proven working experience as a material worker
  • Forklift experience
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to squat, twist, reach and stand or walk for an entire workday
  • Ability to work in Texas weather including heat, cold, dust, rain
  • Ability to work some Saturdays
  • Ability to use a measuring tape
  • Ability to read, write and speak English or Spanish
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling and shipping
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products including picking, unloading, labeling and storing
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Complete logs for inventory, vehicles or deliveries as required
  • Report any discrepancies found during warehouse operations
  • Communicate and cooperate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment with preventive care
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
