Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- capability to use hands and arms effectively
- ability to perform moderate to hard physical work
- visual acuity to adjust focus on close and distant objects
- pass pre-employment background screening
- comply with governmental contract requirements including COVID vaccination if applicable

Job Qualifications
- Current forklift operator certification or ability to obtain
- ability to read and comprehend simple sentences
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- teamwork skills
- customer service orientation
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- experience in safe operation of material handling equipment preferred
- knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards preferred
Job Duties
- Operate commissary receiving/storage/holding area and receive deliveries of merchandise
- offload trucks by removing merchandise using forklifts or other equipment and place in receiving area
- transport merchandise from receiving area to holding area
- segregate merchandise by aisle, commodity, or store location for staging and stocking
- identify and report damaged merchandise to contracting
- keep receiving areas clean and safe
- operate gas and electric forklifts, pallet jack, and double stacker
- follow safety rules in equipment operation
- create and transport cardboard bales
- perform light maintenance and safety inspections on equipment
- assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and checking for expired items
- maintain cleanliness of exposed shelf areas
- provide excellent customer service
- face products in assigned areas and ensure proper labeling and stacking
- assist in stocking frozen and chill areas as needed
