Job Duties
- Load and unload trucks or other transporting devices manually
- unpack, shelve, and store items in proper storage locations
- transport goods using hand trucks, carts, or wheelbarrows
- remove and install items such as carpet, padding, drapes, blinds, clocks, and wall-mounted fixtures, as directed
- install and perform minor reconfigurations of office systems furniture
- pick up and deliver furniture and equipment to designated offices, as directed
- assemble and disassemble furniture received from commercial vendors
- set up tables, chairs, and equipment for conferences, meetings, and training events
- break down and return equipment to storage after events
- deliver copier paper and supplies to appropriate office locations
- assist mailroom staff with sorting, collection, and delivery of mail items
- help staff prepare boxes of documents and materials for long-term storage and coordinate with storage contractors
- serve as the primary assistant to the Facilities Manager, supporting space management, conference planning, training coordination, and shared resource maintenance
- perform other duties as assigned
