Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to interpret graphs
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Forklift certification
  • Valid and current driver's license
  • Ability to work on-call some days and respond to emergency situations
  • Must be within reasonable commute distance of worksite
  • Ability to use handling equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Job Duties

  • Process carrier receipts performing both physical and visual inspection of product and documentation noting any carrier exceptions of damage or missing packages
  • Perform system receiving transactions noting all received materials match supplier manifest/packing list and D365 open Purchase order and communicate discrepancies
  • Maintain warehouse in orderly fashion ensuring all stock is accurately stored same day received and all product correctly faced and labelled
  • Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to, from trucks or trains, and within the storage facility
  • Load and unload materials in the warehouse or storage facility
  • Pull, pack, label, and ship product to ensure safe, secure, and timely delivery
  • Maintain shipping files
  • Process orders in Microsoft D365 accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Check sales, transfer order records, and run reports to determine shipment needs
  • Use carriers shipping systems including opening and closing daily shipment records
  • Order shipping supplies including bags, boxes, labels, shrink and bubble wrap
  • Select freight carriers when required
  • Coordinate international shipments and documentation
  • Perform daily inventory cycle counts with first pass accuracy of 99%
  • Audit and perform recounts of cycle counts
  • Identify and escalate any issues that need to be addressed in order to correct any errors
  • Serve on-call (24 hours/day, at least 7 days/month) as assigned to respond to emergencies and other order and shipping needs
  • Maintain D365 warehouse default locations
  • Maintain D365 Item master attributes including HTS code, ECCN, size dimensions, weights
  • Create international export documentation and complete reporting requirements
  • Create spreadsheet reports as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
