The Matchday and Events Assistant plays an essential role in the Matchday Operations department, supporting Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Reign FC, and the affiliated Seattle Sounders FC 2 (Defiance). This part-time, hourly role offers approximately 5 to 10 hours of work per week at a rate of $21.30 per hour. Positioned within a fast-paced, highly visible environment, the Matchday and Events Assistant is pivotal in executing fan engagement, game-day operations, and overall event presentation. The incumbent serves as a liaison between the clubs, fans, partners, sponsors, and internal departments, ensuring seamless operations and maximizing fan satisfaction.

Key responsibilities revolve around in-stadium activations including setting up and breaking down fan engagement activities, overseeing signage and branding elements, managing distribution of promotional giveaways, and assisting with on-field experiences such as halftime entertainment and ceremonies. Additionally, this role extends beyond matchdays to support non-matchday events like community outreach, street team promotions, club-sponsored activities at the Providence Swedish Performance Center, and events led by the RAVE Foundation.
