The Matchday and Events Assistant position is a part-time, hourly role within the Matchday Operations department, offering approximately 5-10 hours of work per week at a competitive rate of $21.30 per hour. This role is essential in bringing to life the dynamic matchday and community events across the Sounders FC, Reign FC, and Defiance clubs. The assistant supports the seamless execution of in-stadium fan engagement programs, game presentations, and partner activations that align with both club values and sponsorship objectives. This position demands an individual with a passion for delivering exceptional fan experiences in a fast-paced environment, capable of adaptability and eager to contribute wherever needed. The Matchday and Events Assistant acts as a key liaison between various internal departments and external partners during games, ensuring that every fan interaction is meaningful, memorable, and reflects the clubs' ethos of excellence, teamwork, and community commitment.

Availability for this role requires attendance at a minimum of 60% of matches played by the Sounders FC, Reign FC, and Defiance teams, reinforcing the importance of consistent presence during matchdays. This ensures the assistant is fully integrated within event operations and actively contributes to each live event. The role also extends to non-matchday club events, where support is provided for marketing initiatives, fan development, community outreach via the RAVE Foundation, ticketing services, corporate partnerships, and cultural inclusivity programs. The position involves responsibilities such as event setup and teardown, fan activation support, operational logistics, and acting as a brand ambassador at diverse community engagements. Furthermore, employees must reside in Washington state at the time of hire and have reliable transportation.
