Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of relevant culinary experience in high-volume kitchens
  • Knowledge of Western and Continental cuisine techniques
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship or culinary school graduate preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in a hotel restaurant, casino, or individual restaurant focused on specialized high-volume areas
  • Familiarity with all aspects of the restaurant’s cuisine including wok cookery and Continental cuisine
  • Culinary background emphasizing high volume, quality cuisine, and sanitation skills
  • Ability to teach and train fellow culinarians

Job Duties

  • Prepare high quality and consistent food products
  • Work closely with Restaurant Chef and Assistant Master Cooks on outlet operations including inventory control and quality of purchased goods
  • Check and maintain all kitchen equipment and report damages to management
  • Supervise kitchen activities in conjunction with the Chef
  • Rotate all food products in walk-ins and freezers to ensure freshness
  • Display superior teamwork abilities and assist fellow culinarians when necessary
  • Maintain all food standards, specifications, and recipes as outlined by the Chef and Executive Chef
  • Follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and report unsafe conditions to management
