The Macon Mayhem is a professional hockey team based in Macon, Georgia, and a proud member of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Job Requirements
- Be in strong physical condition
- be able to wear a multi-layer costume and perform for extended times
- height between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet preferred
- be local or willing to work in Macon, GA
- availability to work all 29 home games
- willingness to participate in additional team and community events
- ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- ability to engage with fans of all ages
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- prior mascot experience preferred but not required
- physical stamina and fitness to perform in a multi-layer costume for extended periods
- ability to work cooperatively with team members and event staff
Job Duties
- Meet and greet fans before, during, and after events
- maintain costume cleanliness and well-being
- perform at all 29 Mayhem home games plus select team appearances and community events
- create a fun and exciting experience for fans at every game and event
- brainstorm new ideas and promotions to enhance gameday experience
- take and follow directions from Game Presentation and Operations Coordinator
