Job Description

Chicago Marriott Midway is a premier hotel near Chicago Midway Airport, renowned for its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. Recognized as a 2020 AAA Inspector’s Best of Housekeeping hotel, it prides itself on delivering sophisticated comforts and a welcoming atmosphere that caters to both leisure and business travelers. The hotel features stylish guest rooms with pillow top mattresses and spacious ergonomic workstations designed to provide maximum comfort. Guests also enjoy access to a concierge lounge in select rooms and suites, as well as the convenience of onsite Starbucks and Copper Fox dining options. To support an active lifestyle, the hotel offers amenities such as an indoor pool and a 24/7 fitness center. Its strategic location provides easy access to popular attractions including Downtown Chicago, SeatGeek Stadium, and Brookfield Zoo, making it an ideal destination for visitors. Additionally, the hotel boasts dynamic event spaces suitable for business meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. A major highlight is the free airport shuttle service, simplifying group travel to and from Chicago Midway Airport.

As a Van Driver at Chicago Marriott Midway, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing safe and reliable transportation between the hotel and nearby destinations. This role requires a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement due to the size of the vehicles and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will be responsible for owning the guest journey from start to finish by greeting guests warmly, assisting with luggage, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the van. Your professionalism and attentiveness will ensure that every ride is not just a trip but a VIP experience for the guests. Your duties will include managing routes efficiently, navigating local roads with skill, and providing information about local attractions and services. You will also act as a concierge on wheels by delivering messages, packages, or flowers, escorting guests to their rooms, and supporting front desk operations such as check-ins and check-outs. Serving as an essential team player, you will coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations, always adhering to company policies and safety standards. This full-time position offers a competitive benefits package following an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and other perks such as daily pay options. If you are a courteous, dependable driver with a passion for exceptional service and a desire to contribute to an outstanding guest experience, this role at Chicago Marriott Midway is an excellent opportunity to elevate your career in hospitality transportation.
