Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of bartending or related experience
  • Prior guest service experience
  • Current food handler's card
  • Alcohol service certification
  • Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Occasional ladder climbing
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Possible travel for training and assisting other locations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Prior guest service experience
  • Current food handler's card as required by law
  • Alcohol service certification as required by federal, state, or local law
  • Enthusiasm to learn about all Tommy Bahama products
  • Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Genuinely greet all guests with a friendly smile and personalized offer to help with their food and beverage experience and respond to retail questions
  • Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
  • Complete all retail product knowledge courses and participate in location-related meetings and training sessions
  • Practice proper cash handling and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all team members and guests
  • Maintain proper stock levels including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits
  • Verify proper government-issued identification of guests when alcohol is ordered
  • Adhere to company and location policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required to support the business
