Job Requirements

Must meet the minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
High school diploma or GED
One or more years of bartending or related experience
Prior guest service experience
Current food handler's card
Alcohol service certification
Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently
Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
Occasional ladder climbing
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
Possible travel for training and assisting other locations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One or more years of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
Prior guest service experience
Current food handler's card as required by law
Alcohol service certification as required by federal, state, or local law
Enthusiasm to learn about all Tommy Bahama products
Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Genuinely greet all guests with a friendly smile and personalized offer to help with their food and beverage experience and respond to retail questions
Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
Complete all retail product knowledge courses and participate in location-related meetings and training sessions
Practice proper cash handling and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all team members and guests
Maintain proper stock levels including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits
Verify proper government-issued identification of guests when alcohol is ordered
Adhere to company and location policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required to support the business
