Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of bartending or related experience
- Prior guest service experience
- Current food handler's card
- Alcohol service certification
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Occasional ladder climbing
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Possible travel for training and assisting other locations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant
- Prior guest service experience
- Current food handler's card as required by law
- Alcohol service certification as required by federal, state, or local law
- Enthusiasm to learn about all Tommy Bahama products
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Genuinely greet all guests with a friendly smile and personalized offer to help with their food and beverage experience and respond to retail questions
- Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
- Complete all retail product knowledge courses and participate in location-related meetings and training sessions
- Practice proper cash handling and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all team members and guests
- Maintain proper stock levels including inventory control and ordering of perishables and spirits
- Verify proper government-issued identification of guests when alcohol is ordered
- Adhere to company and location policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as required to support the business
