Job Description
This opportunity is offered by a dynamic company looking to enhance its marketing and event coordination capabilities through the addition of a part-time Marketing/Event Coordinator. The company operates primarily in the Huntsville, Alabama area but provides flexible remote working conditions with occasional travel required to local office sites. This arrangement supports a balance between independent work and collaborative events management, bringing fresh energy and innovative solutions to marketing initiatives and event execution. The firm prioritizes adherence to strict quality and cybersecurity standards including AS9100 and CMMC, ensuring a professional and compliant operational environment.
The position is designed for entry-level candidates who are eager to gain hands-on experience by engaging in both virtual and in-person event arrangements, as well as supporting broad marketing campaigns. The role involves assisting with the coordination of all phases of event planning—from the initial concept through organization to on-site management and post-event evaluations. Marketing responsibilities encompass content creation for social media, email newsletters, and promotional materials that align with strategic branding efforts. Candidates will also help maintain corporate websites and blogs, which are important platforms for customer engagement and information dissemination.
Moreover, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring the consistency of brand messaging across various channels while upholding compliance with company policies related to quality management systems. Candidates should be adaptable, with proficiency in modern marketing tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and comfortable managing marketing calendars and project timelines to ensure smooth execution of marketing strategies and events. This position provides valuable exposure to the marketing field and event coordination, offering a foundation for career growth in these disciplines.
