Chicagoland Speedway is a renowned 1.5-mile oval racing track located in Joliet, Illinois, approximately 30 miles south of downtown Chicago on the historic Old Route 66. This premier motorsports venue is well-known for hosting high-profile racing events and is gearing up for a significant NASCAR return on July 3-5, 2026, promising an exciting three days of premier racing action. Chicagoland Speedway's commitment to excellence in event hosting and motorsport entertainment has made it a central hub for racing enthusiasts and fans throughout the region. The speedway combines thrilling competition with vibrant fan experiences, making it an iconic destination for motorsports activities and community involvement.

The Marketing Seasonal Representative role at Chicagoland Speedway offers a dynamic opportunity to be deeply involved in orchestrating grassroots marketing programs that are integral to the speedway's events and community engagement strategies. This position functions under the guidance of the Senior Director of Marketing and in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator, focusing heavily on planning and executing local event activations that resonate with fans and partners alike. The role demands an individual with an enthusiastic approach to marketing and event management, someone who can manage the logistics of event functions, coordinate promotional materials, and ensure that every aspect of the event execution supports the overall brand and entertainment value of Chicagoland Speedway.

These assets play a vital role in fan engagement and promotional activities, making this role crucial to the marketing team's success. The representative will assist in crafting prospect conversion plans and maintaining strong relationships with event contacts, ensuring that each event delivers an outstanding experience that strengthens the community's connection to NASCAR and Chicagoland Speedway.

This role also requires a proactive involvement in the broader spectrum of event planning, including booking entertainment, securing décor, handling contracts and certificates of insurance, and managing event schedules. The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to managing inventory logs for prizes and marketing collateral while collaborating with various departments to manage consumer-facing signage and support race weekend programming. The Marketing Seasonal Representative is an essential team member who supports first-time fan programs, engagement activities, and other marketing-driven initiatives, contributing directly to memorable race day experiences.

The position offers competitive compensation within the range of $15 to $18 per hour and is a seasonal role ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This opportunity is perfect for candidates who possess a passion for sports marketing and event management and wish to develop their skills in a setting that values creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. The role requires individuals who are true team players, excellent communicators, and capable of juggling multiple projects within strict deadlines. The ability to work extended hours and event weekends is a fundamental requirement, reflecting the commitment needed to ensure the success of each event.

Joining the Chicagoland Speedway team means becoming part of a company that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and professional growth. NASCAR emphasizes a supportive culture where employees can prosper both personally and professionally.
