Job Qualifications
- One to three years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified: marketing, brand management, event planning, community engagement, or a combination thereof
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with social media platforms, content management systems, and event management software is a plus

Job Duties
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that promote the institution's mission, visions, programs, and events while strengthening overall brand identity
- Ensure all marketing and communication materials, digital, print, and social media are consistent with the university's brand standards and voice
- Collaborate with departments to design promotional campaigns that increase visibility, engagement, and community impact
- Create content and manage updates for digital platforms, including website, newsletters, and social media, to highlight institutional achievements, initiatives, and upcoming events
- Monitor marketing performance analytics to refine strategies and ensure measurable results
- Serve as the primary liaison for all university events, ensuring coordination between internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers
- Manage and coordinate electronic calendars and schedules to ensure accurate bookings, tracking, and appointments for campus facilities
- Oversee room and facility reservations, ensuring compliance with campus guidelines, proper documentation, and timely communication with requesters
- Attend events, sometimes during evenings, nights, or weekends, to ensure setups, technical needs, and support staff are in place and procedures are followed
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal departments, external organizations, and community partners regarding event planning and facility usage
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, vendors, and partners to foster collaborative opportunities and enhance the university's public presence
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries via telephone, e-mail, and in-person, offering accurate information and solutions
- Process event invoices, track expenses, and collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile payments
- Maintain accurate records, files, and contracts related to events, marketing projects, and reservations
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence, creating reports, and preparing promotional materials
- Assist with light lifting and room setup as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned to support departmental goals
