Job Description
Seattle Christmas Market (SCM) is a vibrant and culturally rich event that brings the traditional European Christmas Market experience to the Pacific Northwest. Located at the iconic Seattle Center next to the Space Needle, SCM has quickly established itself as a beloved community tradition since its inception, with the upcoming event scheduled for November to December 2025. Entering its third year, SCM draws an anticipated attendance of over 180,000 guests, making it the first market of its kind in Washington State. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Communication, Marketing, or related field OR relevant experience in marketing and/or events
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and event coordination
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, online tools, and social media platforms
- Strong organizational skills and/or project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated individual with attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to policies and procedures during Market opening hours
- Knowledge of photography is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends in November and December, including December 24th and 26th
- Capacity to multitask and meet deadlines
- Valid passport for occasional travel to Vancouver, Canada for training purposes

Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships & Community Manager to execute cultural and promotional events at the Seattle Christmas Market
- Create engaging content for social media campaigns, including photo and video, showcasing market experiences, vendors, and special events
- Lead street promotion teams around Seattle Center and partner/sponsor venues to drive traffic to the Market and fulfill partnership/sponsorship deliverables
- Curate media deliverables, help manage media events, gift boxes, and on-site hosting
- Ensure continuous communication for marketing deliverables in collaboration with SCM's Management Team
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local businesses to enhance market offerings and community engagement
- Coordinate sponsor and partnership deliverables to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome and satisfaction
- Facilitate and run on-site Special Events and Booked Entertainment
- Prepared to coordinate requests from Strategic Partnerships & Community Manager for press, media, influencers, and other stakeholders
