The Marketing Manager will be a critical member of this team, driving forward the resort's marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market share. This full-time, on-site, exempt role reports directly to the General Manager and offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000.
The Marketing Manager will partner closely with internal teams, PR agencies, and digital and social media specialists to ensure cohesive and compelling brand communication across all platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of hospitality marketing principles, with a focus on eCommerce, content creation, digital marketing, paid media, CRM management, event planning, and partnership building within the local community. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency, developing innovative marketing strategies, executing tactical promotions, managing content management systems, analyzing campaign performance, and supporting experiential activations and special projects.
This position calls for someone with at least two years of hospitality marketing experience, ideally with knowledge of food and beverage operations, group sales, and independent hotel environments. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality. Competency with industry-related tools such as Salesforce CRM, property management systems, and business intelligence platforms is also expected. Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations related to catering and social events preferred
- Experience working with independent hotels
- Strong understanding of all hotel departments and their roles in group business
- Proven track record in group sales production
- History of achieving superior sales and revenue results with clear strategy articulation
- Proficient professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
- Ability to train and monitor referral processes and account profiling
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong financial, administrative, and management skills
- Natural passion for hospitality with the ability to connect with colleagues and guests
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and entrepreneurial spirit
- Competent with industry tools like computers, Hospitality CRM (Salesforce), property management systems, and business intelligence tools (Agency360)
- Willingness to engage hands-on to deliver results
Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager and Corporate Director of Field Marketing
- Ensure brand consistency across all on-property communications, signage, collateral, and guest-facing materials
- Manage and execute content strategies and editorial calendars, including capturing and curating photography and videography
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including CMS management and maintaining third-party listings
- Support and track paid media campaigns to measure ROI and performance
- Manage CRM systems and deploy email campaigns targeting local guests
- Produce sales collateral, signage, and promotions to support property objectives
- Plan and execute experiential activations and brand events, coordinating logistics with vendors and internal teams
- Provide detailed reporting and analysis on marketing campaign performance and guest engagement
- Develop and maintain local business and tourism partnerships to enhance cross-promotional opportunities
- Execute additional marketing initiatives and projects as assigned
