The role of Marketing Manager for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) within AWS Industry Marketing is a pivotal position responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and execution for AWS’s presence at key industry events. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between $80,600 and $155,200 annually, depending on location and experience. The manager will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of high-visibility 1P (first-party) and 3P (third-party) events, collaborating closely with event marketing teams to create compelling and differentiated customer and executive experiences.

In this role, the Marketing Manager will take ownership of large-scale event strategies designed to showcase AWS’s healthcare and life sciences value proposition. They will coordinate keynotes, executive roundtables, fireside chats, and other significant moments that feature senior AWS and customer executives. The position demands a keen understanding of complex logistics and stakeholder management, ensuring seamless event delivery that resonates with the target audiences. Additionally, the manager will develop content strategies that emphasize AWS’s industry differentiation and customer success stories, creating marketing materials that reinforce AWS’s innovation and leadership in healthcare and life sciences.

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience producing marketing promotional material for owned & operated channels

Job Duties

  • Own end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of AWS presence at large-scale 1P and 3P industry events in partnership with central event teams
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives at industry events to showcase messaging, content, keynotes, and breakout sessions that land AWS's HCLS value proposition
  • Manage high-visibility event moments involving senior AWS and customer executives, including keynotes, fireside chats, and executive roundtables
  • Develop event content strategies that highlight AWS's healthcare and life sciences differentiation and customer success stories
  • Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., web content, campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and central events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate across internal teams (product marketing, executive communications, sales, partner) and external vendors to deliver seamless event experiences
  • Drive post-event measurement and reporting to continuously measure and optimize marketing initiatives, quantifying impact and informing future event strategy
  • Partner with customer references and advocacy teams to secure high-impact customer speakers and stories for events
