Known for its signature IPAs and strong community engagement, Lagunitas consistently pushes to innovate while supporting local initiatives by turning beer sales into meaningful contributions for various causes. The company's culture revolves around inclusivity, creativity, and fostering connections through experiences powered by music, stories, and their beloved beers. As a company rooted in authenticity and fun, Lagunitas offers a vibrant work environment where employees are valued and empowered to bring their true selves – including their pups – to the workplace. The Petaluma campus boasts a dog-friendly space alongside live music events and an employee happy hour culture, providing a unique and inspiring atmosphere for collaboration and growth.

This Marketing Events Intern role is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about events, brand marketing, and the music scene. Reporting to the Events and Partnerships Brand Manager, the intern will play an integral role in supporting the creation and execution of engaging local events, particularly the popular Live at Lagunitas summer series. The role is hybrid, requiring presence three times a week at the Petaluma office with the flexibility of remote work, and demands a commitment of 40 hours per week from May through October. The intern will be involved in various facets including pre-event planning such as ticketing page creation and website updates, on-site event support handling hospitality and production coordination, and post-event duties like content organization and vendor payments. Additionally, this position involves creative project management by coordinating marketing assets across venues and festivals and executing content plans on social media.

Candidates will gain hands-on experience managing multiple priority streams during peak season in a fast-paced, creative environment. The role provides valuable exposure to budgeting, purchase orders, and vendor liaison work, building essential operational skills alongside creative marketing competencies. Lagunitas values resourcefulness, organization, and teamwork for successful event delivery on brand and schedule. As part of the team, interns will enjoy robust benefits including an hourly wage starting at $20, four free cases of Lagunitas beverages per month, 50% discounts on food and merchandise, medical and dental insurance, parental leave, 401K matching up to 4%, fitness app subscriptions, pet insurance, and a supportive culture that prizes work-life balance with generous paid time off and company-sponsored lunches on Fridays. This internship not only supports career growth but also immerses participants in the spirited community life that defines Lagunitas Brewing Company.
