Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, or related field
  • proven event planning and execution experience
  • proficiency in Constant Contact, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and all social media channels
  • strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • experience in managing attendee databases
  • ability to analyze event effectiveness metrics
  • commitment to nonprofit mission and values

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • organize, track, and execute events aligned with Habitat's mission
  • assist with marketing plans and social media campaigns
  • monitor and analyze event effectiveness through metrics and feedback
  • create and manage event budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • liaise with vendors, venues, and suppliers for contracts and services
  • recruit, train, and manage event staff and volunteers
  • manage attendee data within customer management systems
  • conduct post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
