Job Description
Our client is a globally recognized leader in audio, video, and imaging technologies, passionate about enriching entertainment experiences for audiences worldwide. With a presence that spans cinemas, live venues, homes, and mobile devices, this company is dedicated to enabling experiences that transcend expectations and achieve the spectacular. Their commitment to innovation and quality has established them as a pioneer in the entertainment technology industry.
This particular role is for a Coordinator, Experiential Marketing to join the Experience Center team based at their Headquarters in San Francisco. The position is a 6-month contract with a possible extension and offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $30-34 per hour on a W2 basis. The Experience Center serves as a dynamic hub where cutting-edge labs and a state-of-the-art cinema create immersive environments to showcase the company’s groundbreaking technologies.
The Coordinator will support the planning and execution of high-impact guest experiences and events, including customer, press, fan, and internal gatherings as well as demo-focused visits. This role involves working alongside passionate experts and event professionals to create unforgettable experiences that demonstrate the company's technological prowess and captivate diverse audiences. The Coordinator will be instrumental in delivering strategic guest engagements, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless event operations.
As part of the Experiential Marketing team, which is known for delivering award-winning, wow-worthy experiences, the successful candidate will embrace the organization’s philosophy that "feeling is believing." The individual will play an active role in bringing to life awe-inspiring, tangible experiences that excite audiences, foster community, generate advocacy and demand, and serve as catalysts for business action.
Key responsibilities of the role include leading agenda creation and managing logistics for guest visits to the HQ Experience Center, coordinating tech showcases, presenters, meeting spaces, and food and beverage arrangements. The Coordinator will also collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues to enable successful hosting of events and assist in optimizing operational processes, data capture, and reporting to demonstrate the value of these experiential initiatives.
This position demands a positive attitude, a passion for event logistics, and exceptional organizational skills. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure, high-visibility situations, maintaining composure and a solution-oriented mindset. They are eager to learn, grow, and refine efficiencies while exemplifying a proactive, self-starting spirit.
The role requires strong communication skills, including proficiency in engaging with all levels of staff and executives, intellectual curiosity about consumer technology and entertainment, and competence with Microsoft Office Suite and various event management tools such as Airtable, Smartsheet, Miro, Concur, and survey platforms.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in executive briefing center operations, customer service, hospitality, communications, marketing, or media events. Given the nature of the Experience Center and its commitment to live engagements, the position requires full-time, in-person attendance at the San Francisco headquarters, with occasional availability for evening and weekend events.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, passionate, agile, and dependable individual seeking to join a collaborative culture and work with a renowned entertainment technology brand. The role offers a platform to gain hands-on experience in event production and guest relations at a strategic level while contributing to the company’s mission of delivering spectacular entertainment experiences.
