This role focuses on implementing an annual event plan, managing budgets, and driving attendee growth to maximize the impact of each event. The Marketing Event Specialist acts as a central hub for event-related information, working closely with product groups and the marketing team. Key responsibilities include managing trade shows, seminars, and webinars, developing event budgets, tracking return on investment, and ensuring smooth logistics such as booth development, staffing, and venue coordination. The role also involves researching new event opportunities to strategically expand the company’s presence and effectiveness. Communication is vital in this position, as you will host pre- and post-event meetings to align goals and ensure successful execution. You will also coordinate event messaging, manage lead follow-up in CRM systems, maintain company association memberships, and collaborate on social media presence to enhance event visibility. This position offers occasional travel for event support and requires strong organizational and project management skills. The role is ideally suited for someone with an associate degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and proven experience managing event logistics, budgets, and performance reporting. Salesforce experience is a plus. Job Duties

  • Collaborates with product groups and marketing team to act as hub for all online and offline event related information
  • Responsible for all show, seminar, and webinar support
  • Develops tradeshow and event budgets and proxies, defining and executing event plans while tracking ROI for each show attended to evaluate repeat attendance
  • Maintains show, seminar, and webinar schedules, project checklist, and processes through management templates
  • Collaborates with sister companies for joint shows and shared booths
  • Develops staffing schedules for events
  • Researches new shows and events to assess areas of interest, target market and application compatibility, attendee demographics, and budget implications
  • Responsible for successful execution of shows, seminars, and webinars including booth development, product content, presentation, venue management, and lead generation
  • Hosts pre- and post-event meetings to ensure strategic direction, execution of goals, and communication between team members
  • Coordinates logistics and deliverables for events including booking spaces, creating badges, managing housing, and coordinating exhibition materials
  • Works closely with product groups to define needs for new materials and establish deadlines
  • Assists in creation and sending of event communications
  • Ensures processing of leads and attendees in CRM/email systems and follows up for sales related actions
  • Maintains company association memberships and coordinates key technical memberships
  • Manages events' social media presence
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed for efficient team operation
