Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, advertising, communications or related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in event planning within the healthcare industry
- demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- high organizational skills with attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- knowledge of healthcare event planning best practices
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- enthusiastic and high-energy with strong time-management aptitude
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, advertising, communications or related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in healthcare event planning including marketing, trade shows and corporate events
- knowledge of exhibit planning best practices in medical events and tradeshows
- ability to work independently with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- high degree of organization, attention to detail and creativity
- strong customer service skills
- enthusiastic individual with excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
Job Duties
- assist with management and execution of event logistics,budgeting and organization of hosted conferences and trade shows
- support the Event Manager with managing all event logistics and establishing timelines
- coordinate education offerings and source/manage contracts for venues, speakers and third-party vendors
- assist in management of event registration systems, onsite solutions, promotional item and booth hardware inventory
- manage budgets and provide financial updates ensuring revenue and expense targets are met
- develop and execute marketing promotion strategies to increase event effectiveness and revenue
- coordinate with contracting team to ensure compliance for promotional activities
- negotiate and manage vendor contracts for event services
- communicate project status and deadlines proactively
- utilize metrics for event success evaluation and provide improvement recommendations
- maintain adherence to brand style guidelines
- stay updated on healthcare industry event trends and technologies
- perform other duties as assigned
