Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in marketing, communications, or related field
- minimum of 1 year experience in marketing or content creation
- proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- experience with video production and editing
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- strong organizational skills
- willingness to act as a brand ambassador on camera
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- experience with social media platforms and digital content creation
- proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- creativity and attention to detail
- basic understanding of marketing principles and brand management
- experience in hospitality or resort marketing is a plus
Job Duties
- Assist with design and production of creative assets for print, digital, web, signage, and advertising campaigns
- work with marketing team as an on-camera brand ambassador for live and recorded video content, including resort updates, event features, and seasonal promotions
- assist to capture, edit, and produce short-form video content such as reels, sizzle reels, live condition reports to highlight activities and offerings
- support the marketing team with the development and implementation of communication strategies that enhance the organization's image and reputation
- manage the donation and sponsorship request process
- maintain the marketing calendar ensuring all deadlines and milestones are tracked and met
- research emerging digital trends and participate in creative brainstorming sessions
- monitor brand messages and comments across platforms to maintain a positive and responsive brand voice
- assist with drafting and distributing press releases, speeches, newsletters, blog posts, and other communications materials to relevant outlets and partners
- assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage
- support marketing partnerships with leaders across departments such as Hotel, Sales & Events, Food & Beverage, Mountain Ops to identify promotional opportunities and create supporting marketing materials
- ensure all materials reflect Bear Creek's brand identity, tone, and quality standards
- assist with other duties as assigned to support the department
