The company is deeply committed to creating designs that improve the human experience and positively impact the world we live in, embodying the ethos "human by design." With a diverse team of talented professionals embedded in an integrated practice, Perkins Eastman fosters collaboration to deliver exceptional design solutions for their clients. The firm operates through 18 specialized practice areas that serve as centers of knowledge and creativity, providing foundational insights that drive innovative design work. Sustainability is at the core of the firm's approach, ensuring that all designs are environmentally responsible and contribute to a sustainable future. This commitment to sustainability influences every stage of their design process, adding valuable research and ideas that enhance project outcomes.

This opportunity is situated within the Seattle/Vancouver office of Perkins Eastman, specifically in the Marketing Department. The firm is seeking a Marketing Coordinator II to join their dynamic team. This role involves close collaboration with marketing managers, practice area specialists, and various internal teams throughout the firm. The Marketing Coordinator II will play an essential part in all phases of the procurement process, from strategic planning to preparing proposals and participating in interview preparations, all within a deadline-driven environment. The candidate will support marketing and business development initiatives by preparing proposal submissions, qualifications packages, presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials tailored for various regional opportunities.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with lead tracking, conducting capital planning research, and facilitating due diligence activities. The coordinator will organize and coordinate materials for proposals across both internal and external teams and help streamline the pursuit process effectively. This role requires excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. The Marketing Coordinator II is also expected to provide general marketing support across the studio and practice areas, contributing to the firm’s broader business development goals.

Perkins Eastman values professionals who bring creative energy and dedication to the design and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or marketing, along with three to six years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Proficiency in PC-based computer skills and design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Office 365 is essential. A demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment will ensure success in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, which may vary depending on job level and geographic location. Perkins Eastman supports a hybrid work policy, providing flexibility to accommodate employees’ diverse work styles and personal needs. The firm also champions equal opportunity and inclusivity, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds to apply without discrimination. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401k options; paid time off; company-paid holidays; life insurance; pre-tax commuter benefits; and opportunities for professional development. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a leading design practice while contributing to meaningful, sustainable projects through strategic marketing efforts.
