The Marketing Coordinator will play a critical role in planning, promoting, and executing various marketing initiatives such as boat shows, customer events, on-water experiences, and community activations. This full-time role requires a highly organized, self-starting individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with store leadership and marketing teams to support localized campaigns aimed at driving traffic, generating leads, and increasing sales opportunities. They will manage social media engagement, ensuring consistent brand messaging across multiple platforms and serve as an active ambassador for The Boat House brand throughout Southwest Florida. This position also involves event logistics management, attendee tracking, promotional material coordination, and post-event analysis to continually optimize marketing efforts. Candidates should be comfortable participating in evening or weekend events and willing to travel regularly between locations within Southwest Florida. The role offers a dynamic work environment with no two days alike, offering extensive opportunities for professional development in a growing company respected within the marine industry.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, community engagement, or a related field
  • Experience planning and executing events from concept through completion
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Social media knowledge and basic content creation experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel regularly between Southwest Florida locations
  • Comfortable working primarily in-person and participating in evening or weekend events as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, community engagement, or a related field

  • Comfortable appearing in social media content and short-form video
  • Passion for boating and the outdoor lifestyle

Job Duties

  • Plan, promote, and execute boat shows, customer events, on-water experiences, and community activations
  • Support localized marketing campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and sales opportunities
  • Manage social media engagement and maintain brand consistency across assigned channels
  • Coordinate marketing projects and requests while keeping stakeholders informed
