ProspectBlue has partnered with a dynamic company located in Richmond, VA, to hire a Marketing & Events Coordinator. The Marketing & Events Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning and executing internal engagement initiatives, client experiences, and branded programs that support and enhance the company's overall brand identity. This role requires partnering across multiple departments to ensure smooth delivery of events and campaigns, including gifting and employee-focused activities. Responsibilities involve detailed logistics management such as venue selection, supplier coordination, catering, travel arrangements, accommodations, entertainment, transportation, scheduling, and onsite event support. The coordinator will utilize event management systems and registration platforms for attendee communication and operational management, along with preparing marketing materials like invitations, signage, guest lists, and presentation collateral. The role also involves managing company merchandise and promotional inventories, including shipping, fulfillment, ordering, and packaging. Supporting client appreciation and employee gifting programs, the coordinator tracks and coordinates activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines effectively. Additionally, maintaining records, reporting on event metrics, and compiling post-event analyses will contribute to continuous improvement of future programming. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with 2-4 years of experience in marketing support, event coordination, or hospitality who enjoy managing multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail in a deadline-driven, fast-moving corporate environment. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management software is beneficial but not mandatory. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Identifying and reviewing venues, suppliers, and service providers for meetings and events
- Assisting with event logistics including catering, travel coordination, accommodations, entertainment, transportation, scheduling, and onsite support
- Utilizing event management systems and registration platforms to support attendee communications and event operations
- Preparing marketing and event-related materials such as invitations, signage, guest lists, name tags, and presentation collateral
- Supporting company merchandise and promotional inventory, including fulfillment, shipping, ordering, and packaging
- Assisting with client appreciation and employee gifting programs, including tracking and coordination
- Working alongside internal stakeholders to ensure events and initiatives are delivered smoothly and on schedule
- Maintaining records, reporting metrics, and compiling post-event information to improve future programs
