Bennington is a market-leading manufacturer specializing in pontoon boats and operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries, a prestigious Fortune 500 company. Renowned for delivering unparalleled boating experiences, Bennington stands at the forefront of innovation, design, and product quality. Their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction fuels their growth, with operations sprawling across six buildings in Elkhart, Indiana. The company's culture focuses on passion, excellence, and continuous improvement, offering a collaborative environment where team members contribute directly to its expanding legacy in the recreational boating industry.
The Marketing Coordinator role at Bennington centers around the coordination and production of diverse creative marketing materials, including product brochures, promotional and point of purchase materials, direct mails, sales tools, exterior graphics, and web content. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator manages and maintains an extensive image library, providing vital support to dealers, media, and vendors by offering them access and assistance with visual assets.
Beyond content creation and asset management, this role plays a fundamental part in supporting the sales and marketing teams through various administrative and communication tasks. The Marketing Coordinator aids in tracking marketing performance using analytics, preparing presentation materials, organizing major events such as dealer meetings, photo shoots, training seminars, and boat shows. Furthermore, the coordinator contributes to marketing communications including social media projects, public relations activities, and owner group communications. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role helps update marketing calendars and supports the evaluation and implementation of company marketing strategies.
This full-time position is ideal for marketing professionals who have a blend of creativity, technical know-how, and exceptional project management skills. The role demands proficiency with design software like Adobe Creative Suite, strong communication skills, and a results-driven approach. Experience with tools such as Google Analytics and social media platforms is advantageous. In addition, the candidate must be adaptable to diverse working environments—from office settings to production floors and outdoor event locations—and capable of occasional heavy lifting and extended work hours tied to major marketing events.
Overall, Bennington offers a dynamic career opportunity within a supportive and innovative team environment, ideal for candidates aspiring to contribute to a distinguished name in the boating industry while developing their marketing career within a Fortune 500 company framework.
