Job Description

AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group) has been a leading force in the sports and live entertainment industry for more than 20 years. As a global powerhouse, AEG annually hosts over 160 million guests worldwide, promotes more than 10,000 shows, and produces upwards of 22,000 events across the globe. The company’s diverse portfolio includes owning and operating over 300 venues, premier sports franchises, marquee music brands, integrated entertainment districts, a top-tier ticketing platform, and global sponsorship activations. Rooted in community, innovation, and artistry, AEG aims to create memorable experiences that inspire fans, artists, athletes, and communities alike. The company believes in nurturing an inclusive culture that reflects the diversity of the people it entertains and serves, while embracing sustainable business practices to minimize environmental impact.

The role of Marketing Coordinator at AEG is a dynamic and integral position focused on the planning and execution of marketing, social media, public relations, and promotional activities across a wide range of venues including clubs, theaters, festivals, and concerts. This full-time role, with a competitive pay range of $21.79 to $29.51 per hour, does not currently offer a bonus but provides a comprehensive benefits package. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with artists, media outlets, and the community to implement innovative promotional strategies that enhance ticket sales and event visibility.

Responsibilities for this role include developing strategic ad campaigns and managing media buys, overseeing the creation and distribution of press releases, coordinating day-of-show activities and media interactions, and managing social media content and timelines in partnership with artists. The coordinator also monitors marketing trends to ensure campaigns are always relevant, analyzes fan demographics to better target specific audiences, and assists with budget monitoring and reporting to ensure efficient use of marketing resources.

Additionally, this role involves managing interns and street team members who support show promotions, maintaining good relationships with partners and co-promoters, and organizing special community engagement initiatives such as artist meet-and-greets. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office tools and basic accounting knowledge. A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box is highly valued, as is knowledge of the music industry. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting AEG’s mission to provide exceptional entertainment experiences and build strong connections within the communities served.
