Job Description

Liquid Load Banks (LLB) is an innovative startup redefining how mission-critical data centers commission their most complex infrastructure. Founded by two seasoned industry veterans, LLB has quickly gained traction in the tech infrastructure market with its flagship product, the LLB 670. This world-class, liquid-cooled load bank is specifically designed to test and commission AI and high-performance computing (HPC) environments, making it essential for modern data centers that require the most advanced and reliable infrastructure testing solutions. As a fast-growing company supported by major clients and enjoying strong market momentum, LLB offers a dynamic and exciting work environment that fosters growth and innovation.

LLB is currently seeking a Marketing & Events Manager based in Austin, TX, with a preference for a hybrid working arrangement. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, digitally fluent, and eager to contribute to building a marketing function from its foundational stages. The Marketing & Events Manager will be instrumental in expanding LLB’s market presence by supporting sales efforts and taking ownership of daily marketing execution. This includes managing event planning, social media activities, partner marketing campaigns, sales collateral development, content coordination, and vendor relationships.

The role requires a hands-on approach to managing a wide range of marketing activities. The Marketing & Events Manager will work closely with company leadership to transform customer engagement, product differentiation, industry events, and factory demonstrations into visible market credibility and stronger brand recognition. The position offers an excellent opportunity for early-to-mid career professionals who are looking for significant ownership, exposure, and growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating various events such as trade shows, customer events, private gatherings, factory demos, and partner-sponsored activities. The candidate will manage logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, RSVPs, signage, promotional swag, scheduling, and day-of-event coordination. Supporting LLB’s presence at industry conferences and identifying event collaboration opportunities with partners and vendors also form a crucial part of the job.

In addition to event management, the Marketing & Events Manager will oversee LLB's social media calendar with a strong focus on LinkedIn, creating high-quality posts and working with leadership to turn key company milestones and product information into engaging content. The use of AI tools for content drafting and repurposing is encouraged to enhance efficiency, along with the coordination of graphics, videos, and other visual materials through designers or freelancers.

The role also involves maintaining and updating marketing collateral including spec sheets, presentations, one-pagers, and digital content. Coordination with external branding, design, web, print, and video resources will be required, as well as creating repeatable processes to streamline events and content production.

With a starting salary around $70,000 plus performance-based bonuses, the position offers a compelling compensation package with significant potential for advancement as the company scales. Joining LLB means becoming part of a cutting-edge company in a critical infrastructure sector, working directly with leadership, and contributing actively to shaping the company’s marketing strategy and execution from the ground up. This role promises both professional growth and the exciting challenge of bringing innovative solutions to market in a fast-moving environment.
