Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • One or more years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical ability to work in fast-paced environment including sitting, walking, standing, bending, and carrying up to 15 pounds
  • Willingness to be onsite for events
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and skills in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • One or more years of employment in a related position
  • Some graphic design experience preferred
  • Previous event management experience a plus
  • Proficient in required job skills and knowledge
  • Active learner with strong curiosity and insight
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and writing ability
  • Independent thinker with confidence and integrity
  • Energetic self-starter with persistence and goal-oriented approach

Job Duties

  • Manage social media for multiple restaurant accounts and assist with Denver Union Station's social media as needed
  • Create content, produce posts, and engage in online conversations across social channels including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Attend meetings and collect information and content from various restaurant partners
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and build engagement across social media channels
  • Stay current on social trends and implement new marketing opportunities
  • Assist with updating Denver Union Station and other Sage entities' websites by editing and creating content
  • Manage holiday and area event calendars on property websites
  • Help execute Denver Union Station marketing events including communication with talent and entertainment and some booking duties
  • Be onsite for marketing events as necessary
  • Share responsibility for Denver Union Station newsletter management
  • Manage the Denver Union Station email inbox and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
  • Manage lighting and lighting requests for the Union Station building
  • Monitor social media chatter and digital PR outlets
