Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in luxury hotel setting or three years in luxury retail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with event management software such as Delphi and Opera preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Capacity to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of up to 8 hours
- Flexible schedule including weekends and evening availability
- Union experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in a luxury hotel or three years in luxury retail
- Proficient in MS Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Delphi, Opera, Social Tables, and Cvent preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to connect with a diverse clientele
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
- Second language preferred, French highly desirable
Job Duties
- Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to support marketing initiatives
- Vet and coordinate media, travel writers, and influencers
- Manage photoshoots with agency partners
- Coordinate VIP details and communications
- Service events and high-profile groups including BEO preparation
- Manage vendor relations, signage, and floorplan coordination
- Maintain Delphi CRM accounts, create and update bookings, manage function diary
- Ensure accuracy of banquet checks and final billing
- Distribute change logs, BEOs, and daily event listings to relevant departments
- Collaborate with banqueting and operations teams to deliver flawless events
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
