The company values its people, embraces agility, and fosters growth, creating an environment where imagination meets execution. Parsons’ work spans various sectors including transportation, public safety, and infrastructure development, contributing to economic growth, improved mobility, sustainability, and community resilience across the globe.
Join Parsons as a Marketing and Event Planner for Traffic Incident Management (TIM) and immerse yourself in a role that is pivotal to advancing stakeholder engagement through strategic marketing and event organization. Located within the Critical Infrastructure team, this position offers a unique blend of responsibility and opportunity, supporting statewide TIM initiatives by orchestrating key stakeholder events such as conferences, executive briefings, strategic retreats, and committee meetings. You will have the chance to work closely with public safety and transportation leaders, facilitating communication and stakeholder engagement that ultimately support safer and more efficient traffic management.
In this Marketing and Event Planner role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of major TIM-related events by managing all aspects including venue selection, agenda development, speaker coordination, registrations, and on-site facilitation. Your role will go beyond logistics to include the development of marketing and outreach materials like newsletters, social media content, flyers, and presentations that highlight TIM initiatives and trainings. You will maintain and enhance engagement through digital platforms, ensuring information is effectively communicated across multiple channels to the public safety community and other partners.
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range of $63,600 to $111,300, backed by Parsons' commitment to employee wellbeing and professional growth. The company’s best-in-class benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays designed to support work-life balance. Parsons is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to inclusivity and diversity, encouraging candidates of all backgrounds to apply. There is no security clearance required for this role, allowing for a seamless onboarding experience.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of building and sustaining engagement through effective event planning and marketing strategies. You will be highly organized with attention to detail, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate creativity in problem solving. Experience in supporting public-facing projects or transportation programs, especially in Traffic Incident Management, is preferred but not mandatory. Parsons fosters an environment of continuous learning and advancement by offering comprehensive training, educational programs, and mentorship opportunities.
